 With
a name that deserves to shine in marquee lights, Mistique is more
than a mood—she's a movement. Equal parts fierce, fabulous,
and funny, she’s carving out a radiant path in the Capital
Region of New York and beyond. A true Leo at heart, she’s
got wit, charm, fire, and that signature confidence that makes
you do a double take. Whether she’s making you laugh with
her edgy humor or dazzling on the runway, Mistique is unforgettable.
But don’t be fooled—this powerhouse isn’t just
about beauty and sass. Mistique is the definition of multitalented.
A recently minted model and actress, she's also stepping behind
the mic, lending vocals to local artists and eyeing a future in
voiceover acting. Add to that a list of passions including writing,
painting, dancing, and singing, and you’ve got someone who
refuses to be boxed in. She’s a creative force—flirty,
fun, soulful, and full of surprises.
What
makes Mistique’s journey even more inspiring is the depth
behind her shine. With over 20 years in customer service, she’s
held leadership roles from Front Office Supervisor to Housekeeping
Supervisor and even climbed the ranks at Kay Jewelers to Assistant
Manager in under a year. Oh, and did we mention she’s a GIA
Certified Diamontologist? That’s right, she knows her gems
and is one.
Rooted
in family and faith, Mistique is one of the eldest in a blended
family of 13 siblings. She's got deep ties and a big heart. She’s
also recently stepped into leadership as the Vice President of
CSEA Local 657—proving she’s not only about making moves
for herself but lifting others up as she goes.
In 2023, she joined Curvention as a Production Assistant and has
since walked in their 2024 and 2025 fashion shows, showing the
world that style has no size limit and confidence has no expiration
date. Because for Mistique, age ain’t nothin’ but a
number—and Black don’t crack (unless you smokin’
it... and sometimes not even then ????). Jokes, but also facts.
Her passions are as vibrant as her personality: music (shoutout
to Queen Bey), poetry, photography, makeup, baking, and more.
Her Instagram (@JustMistique) is a window into a woman living
life boldly, creatively, and authentically.
So what’s next for Mistique? She’ll tell you herself: “Go’
