Sit Down With Khoree ‘The Poet”
And Jamsource Runway Magazine As Khoree ‘The Poet’ trailblaze
across Texas on his way to Louisiana, Jamsource
had an opportunity to sit down for a minute
before his Ladies Night show in Houston,
presented by SugarBabee Records. The artist
is truly a Contemporary Spoken Word/R&B
performer with clever, thought provoking
poems that he expresses with a silky-smooth
sound, mixed with Jazz/R&B instrumental
elements. He has performed to open acts
as Bruce Bruce and others.
The Gospel Single, Thank You, featuring
Lenny Williams, was recently released in
April 2018. The single was produced
by Levi Seacer (New Power Generation and
former Music Director to Prince.) Additional releases include 2016 The
Love Movement CD which includes 3 singles
listed 'For Your Consideration' in the 58th
Annual Grammys. The CD is produced
by Saxophonist Ric Alexander (Tony
Toni Tone), Producer Andre Rivers (has produced
13 gold Records) and Guitarist Levi Seacer
(Musical Director for Prince).

Runway Magazine experienced Whey Jennings
& Creed Fisher up close and personal.
The acoustic performance of Southern rock
and country classics was right on point.
Whey and his raw, earthy vocals blended
over acoustic guitar did his grandfather,
the late country great Waylon Jennings,
proud. Then evening gave way to the just
right sound, the food was served up hot
and delicious and those in attendance included
former Astro Player Robert and wife Rocshell
Santee, and R&B legend Billy Cook dropped
in for a little country.
The community must be proud to have DD’s

up a variety of dishes fresh and hot for

Mob out did their selves once again
at Saturday Zydeco Steppin’ held
at DD’s BBQ Restaurant & Sports
Lounge a newly opened business in the
Alief area of Houston, TX. The restaurant
has incorporated live entertainment
to give an outlet for the local artist
to perform which is a plus for the community
and the artist.
