As an tradition the fall season always mean that it's
time to celebrate in Houston, Texas with the St. Mary's
Fall Gumbo Cook-Off Festival, held on October 21 and
22. It's a weekend full of a variety of southern Cajun
cuisine, live zydeco music and family fun. This year
event was no exception to the rule with the zydeco master
Brian Keith rockin' stage, great weather and margarita's
that pop, making the trip worth the visit. The event
is set up with entertainment for the kids and is the
spot to meet up with friends for a full day of socializing
with a cool glass of margarita's, browsing the many
vendors and dancing the day away.

Over the years our "church community" has
witnessed several changes in terms of its demographics.
Although considered an urban, predominately-black

of very diverse racial groups and consist of individuals
from all age groups and walks of life.
Collectively we are a vibrant family of Christians
whose primary goal is to serve God through serving
others. We welcome you to worship with us and join
